Over the past few weeks everything has been stable with a few minor bumps here and there. Her amniotic fluid hasn't dropped to a dangerous point and we are so grateful. Tomorrow I will be 35 weeks!!! I am in awe of the Lord! What a testimony of His grace and power! Next Monday, July 11 I will return to UVA and they will then set up an induction or c-section date. Their hopes are to make it to 39 weeks, which puts us around the first of August. I will let you know what happens. I know I haven't posted in awhile, but medically, there honestly hasn't been much to post (which is such a blessing!). But I did want to share this link with you. This video is of the two songs that have meant the most to me over the last four and a half months. The Lord has used them to encourage and carry me. There have been days when I have listened to them over and over. I have sung them as loud as I can, with all my heart, as I cried out to the Lord with the lyrics. I hope you will listen to the words and they will encourage you as they have me. There is beauty to be found in the midst of every trial when you look to Christ.

My dearest Jessica,
ReplyDeleteThank you for blessing/dedicating these wonderful songs to me. They are filled with the Power of His Truth. How we can sing while weeping with grief in joy seems a mystery until we realize that this is because of the real hope we have in Him.
When you sing them loud, with all your heart as you cry out to our Lord, sing them out to Him on my behalf too. I cannot sing as I once could and it would be a blessing to know that you are praising Him in song on my behalf.
Just think, sweet Sadie Robin can hear her mother singing praises to our Lord already! Little Isaiah is not missing this blessing either.
I am so thankful that Sadie has stayed tucked away and will continue to pray that she will have fully developed lungs upon her arrival. This will help regarding the heart challenges, as I'm sure you already know.
Speaking of hearts. My heart is knit to yours.
I love you.
Deborah
